Dentons wanted to build their employer brand profile with early talent, and specifically, to increase applications from graduates.
To achieve it they faced a challenge, as they weren’t one of the ‘obvious choice’ firms in
young talent’s consideration shortlist.
But this also presented an opportunity: to show how being different to the usual choices, was their greatest strength.
Starting as a graduate at Dentons means boundless things for your future. It means not being afraid to challenge and to think differently. Standing up and following what you believe in. Doing it because you want to. There’s a real sense of pride surrounding setting the mark, and the people who thrive at Dentons are the ones who have a challenger inside them.
This insight became the beating heart of our campaign.
As part of a whole campaign I was tasked with managing, designing, developing and maintaining the Dentons website.
The website challenged the norm for the sector – combining striking full-bleed video with a bold graphic treatment and bold points of view.
The campaign defied expectations, and results show it paid off.
The website was significantly more effective than the previous iteration and anecdotal feedback for the brochure was very positive.
What’s more, applications increased significantly compared to the previous year.
